Northwest Environmental Resources LLC employs personnel with long experience in hydrocarbon tank and soil removal and remediation:
Darrell Pullen, President; Darrell is also Principal Executive of Desland Enterprises. Desland, for years, held contracts with Shell Oil for the decommissioning of oil barges on the Mississippi River and participated in the multi-year Texas to Minnesota pipeline cleanup for Shell. Desland also participated in the Exxon Valdez spill remediation in Alaska. Desland was involved in voluntary cleanups of Cominco Mining Co’s Doe Run Complex mine sites in Missouri involving numerous USTs and Soil Matrix type actions involving both hydrocarbons and metals contaminated soils. Most recently Darrell has been involved with North West Environmental Resources on the voluntary cleanup actions at the Cominco Mining Phosphate mine sites (Montana) and Glenbrook Nickel Smelter project (Oregon). Both projects involved petroleum storage tank and hydrocarbon contaminated soil removals.
Jay Wilson, Engineer; Jay holds Oregon UST Decommissioning and Soil Matrix Licenses and is ICBO certified. Jay has experience with several mining companies involved in voluntary site cleanups involving petroleum storage tanks and contaminated soil removal and mitigation projects. Included in his resume are: The Formosa Mine cleanup (Oregon 1994) involving multiple above ground tanks, soil removal, and soil bioremediation. Production Supervisor for Cominco during the initial closure phase of the Glenbrook Nickel Smelter.
